Team Evergreen Welcomes Grandmaster Fu Leung
The Evergreen State College Bak Shaolin Eagle Claw Kung Fu Club was privileged by a visit from Grandmaster Fu Leung during the last week of June. Grandmaster Fu is the head of Bak Shaolin Eagle Claw Kung Fu International. Team Evergreen is a local club and team extension of the international organization in Olympia, Washington based at The Evergreen State College. Sam Haskin established the club in 1996 under the direction of Sifu Dana G. Daniels, one of Grandmaster Fu's long time disciples. Grandmaster Fu made the stop in Olympia for the purpose of conducting seminars with the Team. Seminars covered such topics as form work, breathing, hand techniques, and the methodology of teaching. The Team thanks Grandmaster Fu Leung for his instruction and support of the Team.
